JPG2Excel
Turn a photo or screenshot of a table into a spreadsheet you can edit
Forpeople who get tables as pictures and need the numbers in Excel Web, API
Someone sent the quarterly figures as a screenshot, and now the numbers sit inside a picture that no formula can touch. That leaves typing them back cell by cell, with a typo or two along the way. JPG2Excel reads the table in a photo or scan and rebuilds its rows and columns as spreadsheet cells you can sort and filter.
Images can come from your own computer or a cloud drive, up to 10 MB each. A preview shows the detected cells before you download anything, and the recognition can run again when a column comes out wrong. The site says it reads tables in 109 languages and deletes each upload once the result is ready.
The about page calls the output a starting point and names merged cells and handwriting as the usual sources of error. Amounts and dates need a check before they go into the books. Your own software can also send images through a REST API and fetch the finished workbook, which stays available for 24 hours.
Good fit if you…
- receive invoices, receipts or reports as images and need the figures in a sheet
- want to convert table images from your own software instead of by hand
