DeckDesh
Send your pitch deck as a private link on your own website and see when it gets opened
Forfounders raising money who run a WordPress site Web
Halfway through a fundraising round, the same pitch deck has gone out to dozens of investors, with no sign in the inbox of who opened it. The DeckDesh plugin for WordPress serves the deck from the company's own website instead. Each deck gets a private address on that domain and opens between the site's own header and footer, so an investor who finishes reading is already on the company's pages.
A view is counted after three seconds in a visible browser tab, with bots and email-security scanners filtered out. The manage page lists every deck with its recipient and version, plus how often it was viewed and shared. Links combine a 10-digit id with a random token, and search engines are told to skip the deck pages.
A link can carry an expiry date, and moving a deck to Trash stops it at once, with seven days to restore it. The features page points out that a recipient label is no identity check, and a forwarded link keeps working until it is revoked.
Files stay under random names in a private folder on your own server, so no DeckDesh account or outside hosting service is involved. Version 1.5.0 shares PDF files only and needs WordPress 6.0 or later.
Good fit if you…
- send decks to investors from a WordPress company site
- want to know whether a deck was opened without a file-sharing account
