BriefPatch
Agree on scope, feedback rounds and handoff with a client before the job grows
Forfreelancers and small studios who do client projects Web
The client asked for "a simple landing page", and three weeks later it has a blog and a fourth round of changes. BriefPatch sets the job down in a one-page brief that you and the client agree on first. It covers the deliverable, the work outside the job, the number of feedback rounds and who gives the final yes. You can start from a fictional website or workshop example and change every field while a live preview fills in beside it.
Two more builders cover the later stages of a project. One writes up a change request with its impact and the approval needed before extra work starts. The other prepares a handoff sheet of files and instructions, with the decisions that are still open. Each document downloads as an HTML file that opens offline, and the browser's print dialog turns it into a PDF.
Every document is labelled a planning aid, separate from a contract. Work happens in the browser without an account, and the site says typed text stays there. The brief builder can keep a draft on your device, while the change and handoff builders clear their fields on reload.
Good fit if you…
- want a written scope to agree with a client before work starts
- prefer tools that keep project text in your own browser
