Aftermath File Fixer
Shrink a video or resize a photo to fit a form, right in your browser
Forpeople who fix a file for an upload form now and then Web
Three times larger than the support form allows, the screen recording needs shrinking, but the compressors at the top of the search results want the video on their servers. Aftermath File Fixer does this kind of job inside the browser tab, on your own phone or computer, and saves the result as a new file. The privacy pages say selected files never reach an Aftermath server, though a separate analytics tool counts visits to the site.
The catalogue holds more than 100 small tools, one task per page. Image tools resize to exact pixels or to a KB ceiling and then report the measured size of the result. Preset pages cover photo and signature rules for Indian exams like SSC and UPSC, plus the screenshot sizes the App Store and Google Play ask for.
The PDF tools merge and split files or add text boxes and drawings to them, and they accept only unencrypted, unsigned files. Video and audio work depends on the formats your browser can decode, so each tool checks support before it starts. A screen recorder can add the microphone and a webcam picture and saves the recording to the device.
A Labs section holds smaller extras, including a typing test and a space shooter game. The site is available in English and Hebrew.
Good fit if you…
- need a file to meet an exact size or pixel limit for a form or app store
- prefer to keep private documents off online converters
