cognira

Last week you told the chatbot you are vegetarian, and today it suggests a nice steak. With cognira, a preference or a fact you teach goes into a private memory right away. Each reply that drew on a memory names it and puts a Forget button next to it.

Answers come from the maker's own model, a retrained version of Google's open Gemma 4. The site says the hosted chat runs on a single 16GB iMac in the UK and sends no questions to outside AI services. Stored conversations can feed the learning process. Several people must teach the same thing days apart before it becomes shared knowledge, and a public ledger shows what was accepted.

cognira Entity, an early alpha, puts the same models on your own Windows, Mac or Linux computer. The site says its memory and the optional retraining of the model stay in one folder on that machine. Entity comes with a command-line tool and a chat window.
