Free Christian Chat

Some worries only surface at midnight, when the church group chat has gone quiet and even the most patient pastor deserves some sleep. Free Christian Chat keeps three rooms open where Christians write to each other in real time. General Chat is for everyday conversation, while prayer requests and praise reports go to the Prayer Room and questions about Scripture to Bible Discussion. Guests can enter the public rooms straight away, without signing up.

With an account, people can also hold private conversations, share images, send voice messages and make audio-only calls. Messages from other members can be translated into 20 languages in a beta, and the original text stays one tap away. A Bible lookup in the chat menu pulls in passages from the World English Bible.

The terms say public room messages are deleted after three days and private chats after seven. Luna, the site's optional AI helper, can answer in the public rooms and flag possible safety problems, but only human staff decide on sanctions.

The service is open to people aged 16 and over, and its guidelines forbid personal attacks and romantic pressure. The about page calls the site a community and points anyone in crisis to emergency services and trained professionals. Members can report or block someone who breaks the rules.
