Hotel names written in English mean nothing to a taxi driver in Chengdu. The blog post holding your plan won't load either once the phone loses signal. On chinamapbook's map of China, one tap keeps a sight or a dish you want for a first trip. Everything you keep goes into a travel book with Chinese place names, saved as a PDF.

The map can colour each place by how long the fast train takes from a city you pick. Ready-made routes last anywhere between five days around Shanghai and four weeks. You can also paste a plan you already have, and the site lays it out on the map. According to the privacy page, that text goes to DeepSeek, an AI service that picks out places and dates, and is not kept.

Each city page has plans for two to five days, as a phone PDF or an A4 page to print. Opening days and ticket rules appear in boxes that show the date of the last check and link to the official Chinese source.

The site earns money through marked partner links for hotels and trains, and the about page says no partner can buy a place in a book. Books need no account: a normal link shows your places to friends, while a separate edit link opens the whole book for changes.
