Hummed into a voice memo on the bus, the tune sounded perfect, but three days later nobody can say which notes it was. Tunenoodle's Audio to MIDI turns such a recording into MIDI, the note format that music software can open and change. You upload an MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG or M4A file, or record from the microphone. Clips can be up to 20 MB or five minutes long.

The conversion runs Basic Pitch, an open-source model that turns sound into notes, inside the browser. The model downloads on first use; the audio itself stays on your computer, according to the page. Before converting, you set how sensitive the detection is and a minimum note length that filters out short stray sounds. The tempo value sets the beat grid of the exported file and leaves the recorded timing as it is.

The tool works on one pitched instrument or a clear melody and leaves drums out. A full band recording needs its parts separated first. The audio tools work without an account, while the site's AI song studio needs a sign-in and, according to the terms, runs on Suno's music model. Wrong notes can be moved and resized in the MIDI editor, which handles several tracks and exports a playable file.
