ShipLog
Let your users vote on feature ideas and tell them when one ships
Forsolo founders and small teams running a SaaS product Web, API
Feature requests arrive by email and in support chats, where the loudest customer gets heard first. ShipLog gathers them on a public board, and your users post ideas there and vote on each other's. Each item carries a status, so visitors see what is planned without asking. When something ships, a short entry in a public changelog announces it, and readers can follow it by RSS.
The board also comes as a widget for your own app, added with two script tags. It runs in a shadow root, a sealed-off part of the page, so the app's styles and the widget's keep apart. It opens as a small popup or a full-height side panel, and every colour can be changed. With moderation on, new posts stay hidden until you approve them.
An AI coding assistant can connect to ShipLog's MCP server and work with the board. From the editor, it can ask for the top-voted requests and, once a feature is done, write the changelog entry. Each API key covers one project, and the seven agent tools leave out deleting feedback and billing.
Good fit if you…
- want your users to vote on what you build next
- code with Claude Code or Cursor and want the assistant to keep your changelog
