Your program that copies prices from a website works fine one week, and the next the site has moved everything and is asking it whether it's a robot. Keeping it alive becomes a second job of rented internet addresses and repairs. Irmu runs that machinery as a service your own software calls. Send a web address and the page comes back, loaded in a browser first when needed.

Attach a plain question to a request, say which title and price the page shows, and an AI model returns the answer as JSON, a tidy data format. That replaces the rules such programs normally need for each site, and you can connect your own model in the settings. Recipes cover pages that need work first: a scripted list of steps fills in a form and pages through the results.

Requests can leave from a chosen place, down to the city, and through home internet addresses, which the site says are "far less likely to be blocked". Its acceptable use policy bars logging in without authorisation and collecting personal data without a lawful basis, and the LinkedIn page says customers need LinkedIn's consent before scraping there. A request counts against your usage whenever Irmu returns the target's response, error pages and anti-bot blocks included.
