Your CRM has a field for a fax number, but none for the one question you ask every customer. A standard CRM, the customer database a sales team works in, comes with fixed fields for contacts and deals. Small sales teams then change how they sell to fit it and keep everything else in spreadsheets. With Ostrata, each team decides for itself what it tracks and works with the records through a chat assistant called Pilot. You type a request in plain language, or a command like /create, and Pilot carries it out.

Pilot can also build a table or a kanban board from the current records. A pinned view stays up to date, and teammates open it from a shared hub.

Members can connect an AI client like Claude or Cursor through a hosted MCP server. MCP is a standard way for AI tools to read and change data. The personal key keeps that member's permissions, and records created this way carry the member's name.

Ostrata looks up a French company by name or SIREN number. It pulls the legal form, NAF code, address and officers from official sources such as INSEE and BODACC. Updates wait as a list of changes until someone approves them, and officers can be imported as contacts linked to the company.
