Meshy

Forty crates and a dragon, all waiting to be modelled by hand in a 3D program, stand between your game and its first playable level. On Meshy, a text description or a photo or sketch becomes a 3D model. Its surface is then painted with textures, the image layers that give an object its colour and material. The site promises a first model in about a minute.

Characters on two or four legs can get an automatic skeleton, which a library of over 600 motion presets then sets moving. Files go out as FBX, GLB, OBJ, USDZ or BLEND, and plugins open Meshy inside Blender or Unity. A chat-based 3D Agent, still in beta, sketches 2D concepts from your idea and turns the one you pick into a model.

For 3D printing, a printability check flags holes and broken edges, and Auto Repair fixes them before export. Auto Split cuts a large model into closed parts and arranges them on the build plate. Models can carry several colours for multi-material printers like the Bambu AMS. Through Creative Lab, Meshy also prints figures and keychains and ships them.
