HEIC.AI
Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF files in your browser
Foranyone whose iPhone photos get refused by a website or an older program Web
The visa portal asks for a JPG, and the iPhone keeps handing over HEIC files, the format Apple uses to store photos in less space. Renaming the file to .jpg has never fooled an upload form. HEIC.AI converts these photos to JPG, PDF and two other formats in the browser, and the site says they stay on your own device while it works.
A batch takes up to 200 files of at most 50 MB each. A quality slider sets the compression, and a maximum dimension shrinks the longest side while keeping the proportions. You can also aim for a target file size, which the site calls a best effort for complex images.
Results download one by one or together as a ZIP, and in PDF mode every photo becomes its own one-page document, so a batch gives you several PDFs. The privacy policy lists the page's analytics and Google ads separately from the conversion. The help pages advise keeping the HEIC originals, because converted files lose the location and camera data, along with Live Photo motion and depth data.
Good fit if you…
- need to send iPhone photos to a form or service that only accepts JPG or PDF
- would rather not upload private photos to a conversion server
