Hirers search by city or ZIP code and filter by trade, language, rate or transport, with results on a list or a map. Chat messages are translated between English and Spanish as they are sent. A new job post is emailed to registered workers in the area whose skills match. The site says it also goes out to partner job boards and Google Jobs, with a combined reach of over 3 million job seekers.

Workers who want text alerts for new jobs or messages tick a box for each, and the SMS terms rule out marketing texts. On a profile, "verified" means confirmed contact details and two-way reviews.
