Welcome Book Builder
Give holiday rental guests one phone link for Wi-Fi, arrival and check-out
Forhosts who rent out one to five holiday homes Web
At eleven at night a guest texts to ask for the Wi-Fi password. The printed folder on the kitchen table still shows last year's. Welcome Book Builder moves those house instructions into an online guide that guests open on their phone from a link or a QR code, without an account or an app.
A guide starts from a sample template or a blank page. Hosts can paste in old notes, or sign in and upload a Word file, a PDF or a text file. The extracted text is then sorted into sections by hand, and pictures from the original file stay behind. A phone preview shows the guest view, and edits stay in draft until the host publishes them.
Each update goes out under the same link and QR card, so a code stuck on the fridge keeps working. Anyone holding the link can read and forward the guide, and the host can swap it for a new one to shut the old one off. The site advises keeping door codes and guest records out of the guide and sending them through the booking platform. A printed PDF copy has to be exported again after each change.
Good fit if you…
- want guests to stop messaging you for the same house details
- look after a few rentals and want a separate guide for each
