unscene
Choose a film for movie night from titles everyone in the group said yes to
Forfriend groups and families who choose films together Web
By the time a group chat agrees on a film, it is too late in the evening to start one. In a shared room on unscene, each person goes through movie and TV cards alone and marks what they have seen or would watch. The room then lists the titles everybody would sit through, and the group ranks that shortlist and picks a date.
The privacy policy says each ranked ballot is visible only to the person who cast it, while the others see how many have voted and the final order. When you propose a date, the scheduler checks your plans in other rooms to avoid a clash. Members join through a link or room code and sign in first, with an email code or a ChatGPT account.
For evenings at home, Film Family lets parents set up child profiles. They choose which content ratings and genres a family room allows, and titles without a clear rating stay out. Parent votes also carry extra weight in family rounds.
Film details and IMDb scores come from Cinemeta and streaming options from WatchHub, and the site asks you to check with the streaming provider before the night.
Good fit if you…
- plan regular movie nights with friends or a film club
- want the kids to have a say within ratings you set
