TryBestSpecs
Try glasses on a selfie and get frames picked for your face shape
Forpeople choosing new glasses or sunglasses Web
Every frame in the optician's mirror looks like the same blur once your own glasses are off. From a front-facing selfie or a camera shot, TryBestSpecs works out your face shape, such as round or oval. It then suggests frames in cuts and colours that suit the shape and your skin tone, and draws them onto your photo with shadows and reflections on the lenses.
Each result stays in a history, ready to download or send to a friend for a second opinion. The site promises that photos are not sold or used for training. The terms call each result a visual reference and leave the real fit and the lenses to an optician. The tool runs in the browser on a computer or a phone, and it needs an account.
Good fit if you…
- want to narrow down frame shapes before visiting an optician
- are unsure which glasses suit your face shape
