Statsnet
Check a company in official registers before you sign with it or pay it
Forteams that vet business partners, above all in Central Asia Web, API
Half the money up front, says the new supplier, and all you have is a company name and a friendly email. Statsnet looks that company up in official registers and builds a company card from the result. The card shows whether the firm is registered and active, who runs and owns it, its finances and any court cases that name it.
The about page says the database covers 307 jurisdictions and 490 million companies. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan get the deepest records, with 8 to 11 official sources per country. The firm and its owners are also checked against 142 sanctions and watch lists, from the OFAC and EU lists to registers of public officials.
Each company gets a risk score from 0 to 1000, built from six weighted groups of factors, for instance financial stability and tax compliance. Every factor links to the source it came from. Next to the score sits a forecast of how likely the company is to default within 12 months.
Developers get the same data as JSON through a REST API, with SDKs for Python, JavaScript and Go. A remote MCP server lets an AI assistant in Claude or Cursor search companies and read their cards during a chat. Longer lists of company names or tax numbers can be matched against the database in one go, and the result downloads as a CSV file.
Good fit if you…
- need to vet suppliers or clients in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or Kyrgyzstan
- want company register data inside your own software or AI assistant
