You finish a small app over the weekend, and on Monday you learn that charging for it needs a merchant account and a checkout page. As merchant of record, Anyway is the official seller in each sale: it handles refunds and disputed payments and passes the earnings on to you. A product needs a name and a price, and then you get a hosted payment link to share.

Buyers see the payment methods that work in their country, which can mean cards, Apple Pay or Klarna. Subscriptions run on card payments in US dollars, while crypto links cover one-time sales. Payouts are checked by hand and go to a bank account in the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong or mainland China. The homepage shows VAT handled per sale, but the docs list automated tax per order as not launched yet.

Shops with their own backend get a Merchant API for checkout sessions and orders, plus signed webhooks for each change. The second product, Anyway Agents, gives an AI agent a wallet with a spending cap per transaction. The agent can then pay per call for more than 50 APIs, the site says. Credits bought by card fund the wallet, with USDC (a stablecoin pegged to the dollar) as a fallback.
