Now that the job is done, the paperwork for it, down to the price agreed on a driveway, is spread over a notes app and three text messages. ProInvoice keeps the estimate for a job and its final invoice together, so nothing gets typed in twice. You add the line items and payment terms, and the customer opens a link to read the estimate and accept it.

A deposit can then be requested as a fixed amount or as a percentage. Payments run through Stripe, the card payment service: customer money goes into your own connected Stripe account, and Stripe pays it out to your bank on its usual schedule. Once the estimate is accepted and the deposit is paid, ProInvoice creates the invoice for the balance and carries over the customer and line items.

For repeat work, recurring invoices go out on a schedule, and automatic reminders follow up on unpaid ones. A dashboard shows which documents are sent, approved, paid or still due. Templates cover trades like plumbing, roofing, cleaning and photography, and invoices can carry your logo and colours. The app works in the browser on a phone or a computer.
