Question Cards

Dinner talk in the third year of a relationship can shrink to work and who forgot to buy milk. The decks in the Question Cards iPhone app hold questions written to be read aloud, from first-date warm-ups to deep ones for a quiet evening. A single phone is enough, since one person swipes to the next card and everybody answers out loud.

For couples in different cities, or friends who like to think before they answer, Play Together opens a shared room. Everyone gets the same question on their own iPhone and writes a private reply, and the replies appear together on reveal. Friends join through an invite link, or you can wait in an open list until someone new picks your conversation. The deck can change mid-room while the same people stay.

The site lists 41 decks with more than 12,000 questions in 21 languages. They range from work icebreakers and road trips to a spicy set and Truth or Dare. The app also runs on iPad and Apple Watch, and a web version plays the decks in the browser. Its App Store name is Question Games - Couples: Bond.
