O.Translator
Translate a whole PDF or Word file and get it back in the same layout
Forpeople who translate whole reports, papers or e-books Web, API
A forty-page manual pasted into a translation box comes back in Spanish as one long run of text, with the tables left to rebuild. O.Translator works on the whole file instead, whether a PDF, a Word document, a slide deck or an e-book. The translation comes back in the same format, with the layout kept where the file allows.
After the upload you pick a target language and either a standard or a more advanced translation mode. A partial preview shows a piece of the translated document, and the full run starts only once you confirm. Scanned pages go through text recognition (OCR) first, though the site warns that complex tables and text in images may need a manual check. You can correct the result online before downloading it.
Outside office files, an arXiv link is enough to translate a research paper. Comic archives can go in too, and so can the soundtrack of a video, which comes back as subtitles. Teams can share projects, and developers can create tasks and manage glossaries through an API. The site says tasks are deleted after 15 or 30 days depending on the task, and the translation itself runs through a third-party AI provider.
Good fit if you…
- need a translated report or manual that still looks like the original
- want specialist terms translated the same way in every file
