JustBlogged
Keep a blog on your own domain and leave the servers and plugins to someone else
Forwriters and small teams who want a blog without the upkeep Web, API
Run your own blog and you become a part-time technician, with plugin updates on Sunday and the next post still a draft. JustBlogged hosts the blog, on a JustBlogged subdomain or a domain you already own, and sets up the secure connection. Posts are written in an editor that needs no HTML, then published at once or scheduled for later.
Seven built-in themes set the look, from a dark layout for tutorials to a dated timeline for release notes. Content is stored apart from the design, so a blog can change theme at any time. Search titles and social preview images can be set per post, while sitemaps and RSS feeds are built in.
Claude and other AI assistants can connect to an account through MCP, a shared standard for AI tools working inside other software, and then edit and publish real posts. The site calls this "not an AI blog writer", because the writing comes from the assistant you connect. For now an existing blog gets rebuilt by hand, as the site says it has no self-serve importers. Its guides cover the exports of ten platforms, WordPress and Substack included.
Good fit if you…
- want to publish on your own domain without maintaining a server
- work with an AI assistant and want it to handle drafts and publishing directly
