Multifate

Nobody has ever seen the universe show its working on whether to take the new job, so a bare answer leaves you guessing. Multifate draws the chart first, by the fixed rules of one of five traditions, and AI then writes the reading from that chart in plain words. Tarot needs no birth details, while BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu, two Chinese systems read from the moment of birth, ask for the birth date and time.

In the four Chinese systems one set of birth details always gives one chart, while tarot draws fresh cards from the public-domain Rider-Waite-Smith deck for every question. The BaZi calculator prints a receipt that shows which calendar and time zone it used. A methodology page sets out the rules behind each engine, with worked examples and a version history.

A reading can continue with follow-up questions in the same conversation, and members can put one question to a second system and compare the two answers. Signing in also unlocks a rule reading, a text a program writes from the chart alone.

Its about page frames the service as entertainment and reflection with no professional advice, and under the terms users must be 18 or older. The site runs in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
