Every evening the same two questions come up on the phone: did you take the tablet, and did you pay the electricity bill? Adult children who look after a parent from another flat or city often cannot check the answer. Every family member gets a card in LifeWise, a phone app for Indian households. Medicines, bills, health readings and documents sit on that card, and each relative connected to it sees the same entries on their own phone.

A reminder that nobody marks as done within 30 minutes counts as missed, and every connected caregiver gets an alert. Entries can be spoken in Hindi or English, and a photo of a bill fills in the amount and due date. Each card shows only the modules picked for that person, from doctor visits and insurance papers to vehicle records. The app runs in English and six Indian languages.

The privacy policy says stored files are encrypted and that health, location and financial data are never used for advertising. Family location sharing starts only after the member agrees and can be paused at any time. An SOS button sends the person's location to up to five emergency contacts by SMS and call.

Good fit if you…

  • share a parent's medicines and bills with a sibling or spouse
  • want to add reminders by voice in Hindi or another Indian language
