Jithox
Check a supplier's "new" bank details and your invoices before money goes out
Forsmall businesses and agent builders in Europe who pay or send invoices Web, API
"Please note that our bank details have changed." It reads like routine admin, which is why it works: in this common invoice scam, the next payment goes to a fraudster. Jithox compares the new account number (IBAN) with the one on file and the supplier's country. It returns one of four verdicts, from "no change" to "stop", with the red flags named. The check needs no account, and the site says it never declares an account safe.
An IBAN check confirms that the number is well formed and issued in the supplier's country. Invoice review recomputes totals and VAT and tests both VAT numbers against the EU register. Each finding comes with its fix, and the review can export the invoice for Peppol, the European network that carries e-invoices between companies' accounting software.
AI agents can call the same checks as tools through MCP, which connects AI apps to outside software. Five of these tools work without an account. One of them, preflight_payment, returns "stop", "review required" or "no blockers found" before an agent pays. The rest need a person to sign in and approve access once.
Good fit if you…
- pay suppliers by bank transfer and get change-of-account emails
- build AI agents that handle invoices and payments
