FQPS Academy

Future solicitors in England and Wales sit a two-part qualifying exam, the SQE, which plenty of candidates revise for after work. The study plan rarely survives the first late meeting. FQPS Academy gives each student a mentor who has passed the exam. Its AI planner, Cleo, rebuilds the daily schedule around work and family time and flags long stretches without a break.

SQE1 tests legal knowledge with multiple-choice questions. By the facts page's count the course has more than 2,500 of them for practice, next to timed mock papers and revision cards at three levels of depth. For SQE2, which checks practical skills such as client interviews and legal writing, a qualified solicitor marks live one-to-one mocks. The site says 36 new written practice scenarios appear each month.

Lessons run in the browser and in a synced Android app built for short sessions on a commute, and an iPhone version is listed as coming soon. A checker on the site asks the regulator's questions on whether a job counts as qualifying work experience. Under the guarantee page's terms, members who prepared for at least six months and failed their first attempt keep their access until they pass.
