Curveball Critiques

Travel baseball clubs all look great on their own websites, where the families who quit after one season rarely write. Curveball Critiques gathers anonymous reviews of clubs, teams and coaches from parents and players who dealt with them in the past 24 months. To read them you first write one, and every review is moderated, the about page says; clubs that claim their profile can reply.

The other half of the site, Slugger AI, checks a player's swing from a five-to-ten-second phone clip, filmed from the side or from behind the catcher. The report covers mechanics such as hand loading and hip rotation and suggests drills. Its Slugger Score from 0 to 100 rates the efficiency of the movement, so a big hitter with a long swing can still score low.

The site says results arrive in under 30 seconds and that videos stay private unless the player shares them. Clips must be MP4 or MOV files under 50 MB, and softball swings work too.

For coaches, Roster Raise runs a team fundraiser where every player gets a personal link to send to family, and donations are routed to the team's bank account. On game day, Ballpark Press Box plays announcer intros and walk-up songs in batting order.
