Commerce Recovery
Ask a customer to pay for a delivered order after the bank took the money back
ForShopify shops that lose disputes over delivered orders Web
The parcel arrived, the tracking page says so, and the bank still gave the customer their money back. Shops call that reversal a chargeback, and losing the dispute leaves them with neither the goods nor the payment. Commerce Recovery helps Shopify shops decide whether to ask the customer to pay after all, and sends that request through the shop's own checkout.
The app pulls lost disputes from Shopify Payments and matches each one with the order, the delivery record, refunds and returns. Cases sit in four review groups that the shop controls, kept apart from the bank's status. The shop approves every message and payment request one at a time, and connecting a store sends nothing to customers. When a customer replies, reminders pause and the case goes back to the merchant.
According to the pricing page, the customer's payment goes to the shop and the service holds no customer funds. The site also warns that the app cannot overturn the bank's decision and that recovery is not guaranteed. A sample workspace with fictional cases opens without an account. Shopify is the only live connection today, with Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce and others marked as coming soon.
Good fit if you…
- lose chargebacks on orders that were delivered
- want to review each case before a customer hears from you
