AutoBracketMaker

By the second round of a club tournament, the paper bracket is full of crossed-out names. The organizer has worked out who plays whom and still moves each winner along by hand, while players keep asking which table is free and when their next match starts. The bracket in AutoBracketMaker is built in the browser and moves on after every score you enter.

As a table or court frees up, it goes to the next playable match, and a voice can then call the two players over. You choose between the speech voice built into your device and an AI voice from OpenAI, and set its speed and volume. For the AI voice, the terms say the announcement text, player names included, is sent to OpenAI.

The about page describes the product as built for compact in-person events, with registrations, referees and sport-specific scoring rules left to the organizer. In double elimination, a player who loses once drops into the lower bracket and stays in until a second loss. Players follow the results on a public bracket link that updates during the event.
