UsageAtlas
See how much of your AI coding tools' allowance is left before one stops mid-task
Fordevelopers who work with several AI coding assistants Mac, Windows, Linux
An AI coding assistant rarely runs out at a quiet moment. It stops at a daily or weekly usage cap, and the cutoff tends to come in the middle of a task. Each tool shows its remaining allowance somewhere else. UsageAtlas, an open-source desktop app, gathers usage from 14 of these tools and shows token counts and an estimated cost for each day.
You set a threshold for each usage window, and while the app runs in the tray it sends one desktop notification per reset cycle. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and four others supply a token history, while GitHub Copilot, Warp and the rest report only current credits or quotas. Cost figures come from the tool or from local logs and may differ from the provider's bill.
The privacy page says the app leaves prompts and responses unread, and coding-tool credentials stay on your computer. Signing in with Google or GitHub is optional and saves the history to the cloud. From there it can be published as a public profile with activity streaks and favourite models.
Good fit if you…
- switch between several AI coding tools and keep hitting their limits
- want to see which models use most of your tokens
