Give AI coding agents a shared folder where you can undo every change they make
Forpeople who run several AI coding agents on the same project Mac, Windows, Web, API, Command line
Back from lunch, and the AI assistant has changed half the project. Which session touched which file is hard to tell, and the next session starts from scratch anyway. puppyone gives AI assistants a shared folder on your computer where every change is recorded with Git, the version history tool programmers use. You can read the difference an agent made to each file and go back to any earlier version.
The desktop app for Mac and Windows is open source under the Apache 2.0 licence, and the folder stays on your machine as ordinary files. Any agent that reads and writes ordinary files can open it. Moved to puppyone Cloud, the same folder stays online while the laptop is closed. An agent on a server or in a build pipeline can then continue from where the last one stopped.
In the cloud, several agents can write to the folder at the same time. Each one connects over MCP or the REST API with a key limited to the paths it needs. Every write is saved as a version tagged with the agent that made it. Connected sources like Notion or Gmail turn into files inside the folder. Teams that would rather run the server themselves can install the Community Edition with Docker.
Good fit if you…
- switch between different AI coding agents on one project
- want to review and undo what an agent changed in your files
