Compare free AI credits and usage caps before a quota stops your project
Forpeople building with AI who want to know what the free tiers cover Web, API
Halfway through a weekend project, the AI service you picked stops answering because the free allowance ran out. The pricing page did mention the limit, somewhere near the bottom. nopaywall gathers these terms in a public catalog of free credits, trials, student offers, free API access and the usage caps attached to them. Each entry links to the service and shows when it was last checked.
Under Freebies, credits and trials are grouped by type, and each offer notes whether it needs a credit card and who qualifies. The Limits pages compare quotas and refill schedules for image, video, music and presentation tools. Alternatives starts from a paid product, Midjourney or Cursor for instance, and lists free or open tools that do the same job.
Entries come from configured sources like GitHub lists and are checked against the provider's pricing or documentation page. The about page says limits and API providers are rechecked within 72 hours and alternatives within 14 days, with expired offers taken down.
Scripts can read the same data through a JSON API, and AI assistants can search it over MCP without a key. Offer links that earn the site a referral are flagged as such in the API data.
Good fit if you…
- want to know an AI tool's free quota before you build on it
- need current free AI offer data inside a script or an AI assistant
