A translated manga page still leaves the slow half of the job: erasing every speech bubble and fitting the new lines in by hand, like a jigsaw. In the browser, MangaTranslate does the lettering along with the translation. You upload the pages and choose a target language, and they come back with the translation set into the bubbles.

A whole chapter can go up at once as a PDF or a ZIP archive and comes back in either format. Three recognition models read the text, one of them focused on fine detail. For the translation you pick a language model like GPT or DeepSeek, and the site lists more than 100 target languages.

A prompt field takes story background and preferred character names, and the 16 lettering styles range from rounded comic lettering to heavy brush for battle scenes. When a line comes out wrong, an online editor opens on the translated page for changes to dialogue and layout, and it accepts your own font files.

On its about page, the maker asks users to upload only pages they have the rights to and suggests a human read before anything is published. Developers can send pages through an API and collect the translated images once the batch is done.
