ASO.dev
Find the search words that bring your app up in the stores and publish new store text
Forapp makers and studios who publish on the App Store and Google Play Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, Android, API
Your app sits on page six of the App Store results for "habit tracker", a page nobody has scrolled to since the store opened. Store search gives no hint which words would lift it, and every change to the title and keywords goes into App Store Connect one language at a time. ASO.dev links its keyword research to a store editor, so a new keyword can go live without a spreadsheet in between.
More than 6.8 million search terms feed the research, by the site's count, each with a popularity score and a difficulty score. Positions for the words you save are checked every four hours across 60 countries. A Spy view shows which terms competitors rank for, and an anomaly detector flags sudden jumps or drops. For Apple Ads, the paid search results in the App Store, ASO.dev shows which competitors bid on which keywords.
In the editor, a table holds the store text for up to 50 languages, with machine translation built in. Screenshots and videos go up in bulk, and review replies can be written by hand or drafted with AI.
The site says your App Store Connect key stays in secure storage on your device and requests go straight to Apple. ASO.dev runs on Mac, Windows and Linux, with versions for iPhone and Android. For Google Play, it handles releases and review replies, and rankings for that store are listed as coming soon.
Good fit if you…
- keep store text in many languages up to date
- want to see which search words your competitors rank for
