TrackAIMentions
See whether chatbots name your brand when buyers ask about your category
Forbrands and SEO agencies checking their place in AI answers Web
When a shopper asks a chatbot which moisturiser or accounting app to buy, the shortlist it gives can leave yours out. TrackAIMentions tests this for one brand in one category. Its questions describe a need without naming you, and they go to ChatGPT-style models and to Perplexity. The score is the number of answers that mention you, and the quick check of five questions returns it in about 60 seconds, the site says.
The larger reports work from 11 or more scoring questions and the competitors you confirm. Each answer appears as a card with the brands it named, plus the web pages it cited where the source shows them. A second count shows how often you were the first name in the list. Questions that mention your brand or compare it with a rival are kept apart, so they cannot raise the main score.
Every report closes with a ranked list of next steps tied to the gaps it found, for example a comparison page or more third-party reviews. The methodology page calls the results directional samples and warns that AI answers change between runs. Each report is a single run, and a refresh asks the same questions again after you have changed something. Google's AI Overviews and daily monitoring are outside the current product.
Good fit if you…
- want to know whether chatbots mention your brand before planning content or PR
- run SEO audits and need answer-level evidence to show clients
