SubmitMyStartup

Your bookmarked list of launch sites runs to hundreds of entries and says nothing about what each one wants. The fifth asks for a badge on your homepage, and the sixth for a fee to skip a queue measured in years. SubmitMyStartup keeps notes on 748 such places. Its maker has tried 639 of them by submitting the site itself, the API page says.

Each entry carries a label for free, free with a catch, paid or a reported problem. A note written after the attempt says what the free path asked for: a sign-in, a link back, upvotes or an email address on your own domain. It also records how long the listing took and when the note was last reviewed. Facts that were never recorded show up as unknown.

Claude and ChatGPT can search the same data through a read-only MCP server, which plugs the list into a conversation and needs no key. Developers can fetch the whole list from a JSON API, and the list itself is open source on GitHub under the MIT license.

The planner starts with your type of product and your budget, then filters the list down to places that fit. Optional questions about your country and a homepage badge narrow it further, and your answers stay in your browser. On the main list you can tick off each place after submitting to it.
