GoBuildWP
Let AI chat apps edit your WordPress site without handing them the admin keys
Forpeople who run WordPress sites and want an AI app to do the editing Web
Giving an AI chat app the admin login to a WordPress site is a bit like lending someone your house keys so they can fix one shelf. The app can change any page or setting, and a wrong edit is hard to trace. The GoBuildWP plugin lets ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor work on the site through MCP, a connection standard these AI apps support. The site itself checks each request against the user's WordPress rights and a chosen safety profile.
You describe the job in plain words, and the AI reads the theme and installed plugins before it builds a draft page in Elementor or the block editor. A Changes screen lists each supported edit and offers undo where possible. Pro can hold selected writes until an administrator approves them, and it adds more page builders and fuller WooCommerce store work.
With a direct connection, no calls pass through GoBuildWP's servers, the about page says. GoBuildWP Cloud is an optional service that gives one AI app a single link to several sites. The plugin needs WordPress 6.9 and PHP 8.0 or newer, and it was earlier called WPPilot.
Good fit if you…
- want an AI app to build or edit WordPress pages without handing it full admin access
- look after several WordPress sites and want one AI connection for all of them
